• Casa Connelly: Our DIY Autumn Doorway

It's been a long time since I did a DIY up on the blog that was for my actual house! This one has been a long time coming and I am so glad I finally bought the paint and just DID IT!  A couple of years ago I started doing some research because I noticed EVERYONE in the UK has the same white door!... • DIY No Weave Wall Hanging

This has been one of those DIY's that I started last Christmas (EEK!) and it has been laying half done in my master bedroom for the past six months. Of course, by the time I went back to the project earlier this month I had TOTALLY different ideas for what I wanted to do!  The whole project start... View Post

  • 5 Tips + Tricks To Stop Being A Plant Killer

In 2015, I moved to Scotland and became a total plant lady. It happened slowly, picking up a plant here or there. I made it a habit of saying, 'Oh I found this cute ceramic pot and he needs a friend' and maybe I was subconsciously trying to emulate the beautiful homes with plants on Pinterest. I ... View Post
  • Casa Connelly: Our Guest Room Inspiration

Have you guys watched the infamous Marie Kondo show on Netflix? I had actually heard all about 'sparking joy'  from the Marie Kondo book and then from a hilarious reference in Gilmore Girls when Emily Gilmore attempts to throw out her entire home.

  • Casa Connelly: Our Living Roome Reveal!

I'm so so so excited to be able to reveal our living space this week! This was the first room I started playing with when I moved over and it's taken me some time to get the right feel and vibe for the room. The poor room has been painted 4 or 5 times so that I could achieve living room nirvana.  View Post
  • Summer DIY: Garden Labels

This summer in the UK has been AMAZING! I mean, maybe not that amazing if you are in England, you have no water and it is dry AF. The Scottish summer, however, has been so hot, with some rain here and there (for the garden!), and we have had plenty of grilling and fire pit extravaganzas! View Post
  • Casa Connelly: Omg It's Our Big Kitchen Reveal

Say hello to our (almost) done KITCHEN! GAHHH!!! I'm so excited to have one of the first completed and 'adult' rooms in the house since I moved to the UK three years ago. As many of you know, I moved into the house that Adam owned. It was a total bachelor pad and in many ways a blank canvas. Unfortunately, I sold, gave away, or put my Boston apartment in storage. So it was less a combining of two lives and more a fresh slate in terms of style and furniture. After a lot of 'are we going to stay in this house?', we decided to stay put and start making the whole house more us! A bit ambitious doing the kitchen first, am I right?!  View Post
